Xrev Transmit can now be purchased.  After a significantly longer development process, and an increased feature list we still have managed to keep the pricing as we originally advertised!  But only for the next 30 days… So get in quick!!

1 seat = $199 + $30 subscription/seat

2-10 seats = $149 + $30 subscription/seat

11+ seats = $99 + $30 subscription/seat

Subscription for the first 12 months is included and cannot be removed. This entitles you to all updates and support during this period.

We will constantly improve Xrev Transmit by adding additional features!

NOTE: There is currently a small bug on our website that if you click on the slides on the homepage it will incorrectly link you to our staging site.  We will fix this on Monday 4th April, so current please use the menu bar on the website to navigate to the product page.

The launch date of our first product Xrev Transmit is looming closer!

Xrev Transmit will be available to purchase from this website on the 31/03/2011 or 01/04/2011 depending on your time zone.

Secure your purchase as soon as possible and take advantage of the introductory pricing!

After 12 months of development Xrev has developed a powerful Sheet Issuing and inbuilt transmittal functionality for Revit.

A limited 30 day trial will be available for those that want to try things out before purchasing.  But please note that the introductory pricing will not last, so don’t miss out!

Xrev Transmit – March Update

Hi All,

Well at this stage we are at Beta 0.1.9 which is the most robust and stable release to date. It looks like we’ve now addressed all known issues caused by external factors effecting stability. Such as, slow computers, bodgy printer drivers, updating issues caused by mapped drives, Autodesk Revit Extensions being installed or other less friendly code from third party addin developers just to name a few.

There are still 2 known bugs, which we have developed fixes before, but those that  currently effected are willing to hold out a little longer until the next beta release where we’ll have some new features added for testing. Hopefully that should be this week.

Provided we don’t come across too many more bug reports we hope to have the official release to market by the end of this month!

Known Bugs:

  • Printing to hard copy currently prints in an order dictated by when the sheets were created. This seems to be an internal limitation of the API. The solution – to send print jobs one at a time, the disadvantage – other print jobs could potentially get slipped in between. However, this is how Revit currently prints using its internal print command…
  • When accessing the settings module from a project with no sheets and no project number it caused an exception.
  • When updating it could potentially fail to update if the database file had been previously overwritten with an older version.

    Xrev Transmit – Beta 0.1.4 Released

    A few days in and we’ve already released two updates resolving some issues. Our beta team are doing a great job with 3 of our testers already diving deep into the product making suggestions for future enhancements/changes. We’ve also had a few late requests to join the beta which we’ve been happy to oblige.

    To save our testers having to constantly download new versions ever day we don’t plan to keep up this pace of releasing a new build ever day! This will now reduce to probably 1 update a week. Thankfully updates are quick and easy, with most users only needing to download a 6MB file which installs in a matter of seconds! Keeping updated is very easy.

    Generally on the Xrev website, when the product goes live there will be a number of very obvious buttons for purchasing and downloading trial versions as well as making the pricing much easy to find. I know a number of visitors have gone searching our site, but this is all currently disabled until we make things live! As for Xrev Sheets and PRO we will add more information on these pages once Transmit goes live as its currently occupying all our resources to get it to you as soon as possible.

    Xrev Transmit – Beta 1 Live!

    The Xrev Transmit beta officially went live today.

    We are very excited to hear some feedback from our testers to let us know if it is as useful as we think it is.

    In the meantime we are continuing to implement additional features, refine the user interface and generally improve the experience as much as possible.

    Xrev Transmit – Beta Release 17/01/2011

    Finally the date has come where we are confident to put Xrev Transmit out for public testing! Those that have registered for beta testing (over 50 interested testers) will receive links to download along with instructions next Monday 17th January.

    Thank you everyone for being so patient! We have been using alpha versions internally the past month or so with great success in reducing the time is takes to issue revit drawing sheets.

    We will post some video screen captures of the tool in action next week!

    Xrev Update

    Note that Xrev Transmit is not yet available. But we are making lots of progress and getting extremely close to our beta release. Limited by the stability of the Revit API, we have modified our solution to be as Revit independent as possible. What does that mean?

    + Greatly reduced chance of lost information.
    + A greater user experience.
    + Ability to utilise .NET 4.0
    + An always responsive user interface, that is, unlike Revit, if its busy running a task the user interface will remain functional

    We’ve also just implemented the automatic naming and output locations system and can’t wait to show it off as its extremely intuitive!!

    Xrev Transmit will have introductory volume discounts in the following break down:

    1 License – $199 each
    2-9 Licenses – $149 each
    10+ Licenses – $99 each

    Each purchase entitles you to 12 months subscription to receive updates and enhancements from the date of purchase.  Subscription must be renewed before expiry every 12 months to maintain your access to updates and new releases.

    Subscription – $30/year

    Xrev Transmit in Beta soon!

    The first of the Xrev products will be going through Beta testing soon. 

    A number of helpful individuals have volunteered their time to test Xrev Transmit and provide feedback on features, workflow, quality, ease of use and report any bugs found.  We will keep you updated on the progress…

    Xrev Transmit will be launched immediately after the completion of the Beta testing.
